Our 5th annual Day of Giving is coming soon on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. Our Annual Day of Giving is a impactful day of collective generosity for our community. This special 24-hour online event will be an opportunity for parents, guardians, grandparents, alumni, students, faculty, staff, and community supporters of St. Columba to unite to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the 280 students growing and learning at our school each day. This year our goal is to raise $250,000 building on last year’s incredible success, when over 400 donors contributed more than $225,000 in direct support of our students, teachers, and programs This is a true testament to you, our wonderful community members, and your commitment to our mission.

Everything  we do at St. Columba is to honor and advance our mission of Teaching Gospel truth and moral value in an environment of academic excellence according to Catholic tradition. Your gifts during this 24 hour appeal are put to immediate use by supporting a myriad of needs including:

Support for Teachers and Staff: Competitive compensation and professional development to attract, retain, and equip outstanding teachers and help them advance their skills and pursue leadership roles.

Academic Excellence and Enrichment: Enhanced programs in visual and performing arts, music, STEAM, scripture-based self-awareness and social emotional intelligence curriculum, digital citizenship, and extracurricular programs including After-School STEAM and Middle School LEGO Robotics Club.

Facility Improvements: Upgrades and maintenance to our aging facilities including classroom equipment, safety, educational technology, and supplies.

Financial Aid: Giving financial aid to families to ensure our school community is as diverse as our local community and to continue the tradition of providing a Catholic education to any student who desires it, regardless of their ability to pay.

Why Are Donations Necessary?

The Day of Giving is the cornerstone of all fundraising and supports the ongoing day-to-day operational expenses of the school. In order to keep St. Columba as affordable as possible for families, tuition and fees do not cover all of our budgeted costs. The rest is made up through grants, legacy gifts, St. Columba Parish support, and generous donors like you. All parochial, private, and independent schools face this same need - to make up the difference between costs and tuition.
